The harbor was very foggy at times.  You kind of expected to see the Flying Dutchman come out of the fog!  Spooky!

This is my second layout of 2010 - Bar Harbor Inn from the bayside.  Looks like a wonderful place to stay.  Of course, we didn't stay there - we camped!

Feed the Birds!

We bought a new bird feeder over the MLK holiday and the birds just love it. Lots of Black-Capped Chickadees and Bluejays (not to mention the squirrels) have visited. Yesterday, I saw a bird I've never seen around here before so I took a picture. It took George and I a while to figure out what it was from the bird books but we finally came up with.....a Red-Bellied Woodpecker! Supposed to be a rare bird for this area, it's more prevalent south of here. We took several pictures and some videos and I will be scrapping the pics at some point. We also have Downy Woodpeckers and Pileated Woodpeckers here. No pics of the Pileated Woodies, though. We never seem to have the camera handy when we see them!

My 2010 resolution is to complete 52 layouts. This is my first layout of 2010. We vacationed in Maine in 2005 and this layout shows some of Bar Harbor.
