Onward to my 2010 Goal!

With the completion of my 13th layout, I am now 1/4 of the way to my goal of 52 layouts this year.  And, it's not even the end of March yet.  I'm actually ahead of schedule for a change.  I just wish it didn't take me so long to figure out what paper I'm going to be using.   I'm lucky to complete 1 layout during the weekend.  Maybe I should gather all my photos, paper that I want to use, embellishments, etc. and plan my pages ahead of time.  Then I can just whip them out and get several done in a weekend!

Layout #13

Okay, so maybe it was worth the climb.  What a view from the top of The Beehive!  Oh, I STILL don't like heights!

Layout #12

I don't like heights, I don't like heights, I don't like heights!  Can you tell I don't like heights?  I can now cross mountain climbing off of my list of things I NEVER wanted to do!

Layout #11

The Beehive . . . a mountain . . . we climbed up it!  George was eager, I was reluctant . . . very reluctant!  The bottom pic was taken from Sand Beach.

Layout #10

I changed these pictures to black & white.  On the upper left picture, I tried the stretching technique.  It came out pretty neat, almost like looking at the lighthouse through a window.

Layout #9

Shaughn found a crab on the rocks near the side of the lighthouse.  We put him back in the ocean.  I can't believe I didn't use my Cricut for any part of this layout!  How did that happen?

Layout #8

We visited Bass Harbor Lighthouse twice during our vacation.  The first time it was foggy but the second visit was on a nice, sunny day!

Layout #7

A view of the Shore Path.  There are some spectacular Inns along the path.

Layout #6

The Shore Path was constructed in 1880 and runs for about 1 mile along the bay.  It is a nice, easy walk.

Layout #5

The harbor was very foggy at times.  You kind of expected to see the Flying Dutchman come out of the fog!  Spooky!

Layout #4

The ship's wheel is on the dock behind Bar Harbor Inn.  What a motley crew!

Layout #3

This is Frenchman's Bay which is behind Bar Harbor Inn.  It was a foggy day when we went to Bar Harbor.

Layout #2

This is my second layout of 2010 - Bar Harbor Inn from the bayside.  Looks like a wonderful place to stay.  Of course, we didn't stay there - we camped!
