Weekly Challenge #37: Technique Challenge!

For Challenge #37, we had to create something using one of the techniques the Design Team showcased.  I chose to use the embossed vellum technique.  I cut out a four layer flower (2 paper layers and 2 vellum layers) and embossed the vellum using Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder.

    Hey Kim, I love coming to your blog just to see that beautiful scene in your header if nothing else, but you always have something good to go with it. Question about embossing the vellum...I've only tried embossing vellum once & the design "cut" the paper. Did you have a problem with that happening? It doesn't look like it, so I'm wondering if maybe my vellum was just too lightweight/thin.

    Sorry, Tami! I just saw your comment. Yes, sometimes it does but through the vellum. I have more trouble cutting the vellum on my Cricut machines, though! It tears really badly sometimes but not other times. Go figure!
